Inouye (1924-2012, D-Hawaii); received as a gift from the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs at an unknown date in recognition of Senator Inouye's service to American Indians as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs (1987-1995 and 2001-2003); donated to NMAI by Senator Inouye's widow Irene Hirano Inouye in 2013.
