Hard sole, straight instep. Outside curved to shape of foot. Straight split ankle cuff. Abundant heel fringe 5.25 inches long. Rounded seperately attached tongue. Leather tie laced through top of beaded area. Beadwork: glass seed beads, lazy stitch. Partially beaded pattern (leather shows through in background). Border of clear beads with black edge. 3 triangles on each side. Tongue to toe stained with red pigment and surrounded by beaded pattern similar to border design. Top: 4 crosses each side-- red, black, and green. Marks: sticker with "MP" on sole of left, "112" in pencil and "28 in black ink on sole of each. Right moccasin has extremely light illegible pencil writing on the sole.
