Sean Combs (born 1969), also known as Puff Daddy (or just Puffy) and P. Diddy, is a musician, record producer, actor, and entrepreneur. After dropping out of Howard University to go into show business, he founded Bad Boy Records in 1993, where he assembled a major list of hip hop and other artists, including The Notorious B.I.G., Faith Evans, and L’il Kim. He started performing and recording himself in 1997; his debut album, No Way Out, won a Grammy for best rap album. He has diversified and expanded his commercial pursuits into film, television, and the stage as both an actor and producer/director. His clothing line, Sean John, has been commercially successful and has won awards from the fashion industry.
