Loving

with Sheryll Cashin

Fifty-two years ago the Supreme Court overturned a ban on interracial marriage in 16 states, in the Loving v. Virginia court case. The couple behind the ruling was Richard and Mildred Loving. Kim Sajet talks to Sheryll Cashin about this landmark ruling.

Dr. Cashin is a professor of law at Georgetown University and author of Interracial Intimacy in America and the Threat to White Supremacy.
